Women's Sounds is a continuous program of approximately one hour, composed of songs, instrumental pieces and poems that flow into one another. A colorful procession of women passes by in this concert. Not only female composers and poets, but also brave girls from the Middle Ages, a bored housewife, a clever whore madam, workers from the 19th century industry - to name just a few. And they all make themselves heard, in old ballads, vicious poems, dance music, swinging songs. Played with verve by Plaisir d'Amour. Recordings were made during a concert in the Hortus Arcadia in Nijmegen, you can watch the concert trailer here.
